UV Light Stabilizer Masterbatches

P-93010-UV and P-93020-UV are high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) masterbatch based on polyolefins. It contains blends of stabilizers dispersed in the polymer matrix in the state of the art plant to give excellent performance in extreme climatic conditions.

The additions levels for the films are between 1% to 8 % and higher for extreme requirements. Based on the test results from outdoor weathering tests and from practical experience, we suggest the following addition levels.
UV Stability up to 2 years     :           – 2.5 %
Long Term Stability upto 5 years   : - 5 %      
The above dosages are for guidance only. Some influence on the welding, bonding, printing and laminatin properties cannot be ruled out and must therefore be checked in the each individual case. They also depend on the thermal stabilization of the raw material, pigment or other additives used in the product, actual places of use, processing conditions and other factors.

To get best results in case of extrusion it is advisable to use volumetric feeder, or to preblend masterbatches and polymer in a tumbler or High speed mixer before feeding in a hopper.In case of direct addition into the hopper, care should be taken of thorough physical mixing.

There should be no problems in storing of P-93020-UV. The storage life is one year of P-93020-UV at 25ºC, although not very sensitive to heat and humidity , proper storage will prolong the storage life of the product.
